Montana's Tonsilectomy

Montana's Day for furgery was a good experience. The waiting room had a fish tank with cool fish.

Here the nurse is checking her breathing.
Then we went into the back where she got to pretend to be a doctor. Her patient was a cute cabbage patch doll.
Montana had her oxygen levels checked just before going into the pre-op room.
Here she is in the pre-op room with her cool hospital p.j.'s. She was a little nervous about her underware showing from the back!

Next, the nurse came in to check on her. Then, she got to pick out what scent she wanted in her oxygen mask.
She chose bananna!

Off she goes to surgery!

In the recovery room, she was very brave! The doctor said she held her own mask in the OR until she fell asleep! The orange popsicle she had right after surgery helped a lot, and gave her an orange smile!

Then, she got to ride to the car in a wheelchair. She was pretty excited about that!

It was a long day, and we were tired when it was all over. Mom and Montana snuggled together after it was all over!
